The Williamson County Election Commission has announced the appointment of Chad Gray as Administrator of Elections.
Gray, a graduate of Page High School and Western Kentucky University, has been a deputy in the Election Commission office since April 2000. He will replace longtime certified Administrator of Elections Ann Beard who is retiring effective June 30, 2015. “I am excited and honored to be appointed to this position and realize that the Administrator of Elections is only as good as the full time and part time election commission staff and all of the dedicated poll officials that work as a team to make the election process as efficient as possible for our voters” says Gray. The Williamson County Election Commission is responsible for all the aspects of the election process in the county including maintaining the voter registration records, assisting candidates in seeking election to state and local offices, and holding all elections that occur on the Federal, State and local level for Williamson County.
